| When the US was building
up the largest fleet of naval vessels the world had ever
seen, Blackmer was there. Today, Blackmer pumps are used
onboard both Military and commercial marine vessels around
the world. Our vane
and centrifugal pumps handle transfer, circulation,
stripping, loading & unloading of a variety of
fluids, including fuel, oil, AFFF concentrate, bilge
water, JP-5, lube oil, and waste water. Blackmer's XL, MLX, and HXL pump
lines carry ABS type approval for many of these
services. Blackmer pumps are also a
vital component for aboard-ship fire fighting. Our
centrifugal pump (System One Pumps) lines have military
approvals that prove their suitability for these
services as well. For land forces, Blackmer has developed skid
mounted and trailer mounted refueling units for jet and
ground equipment refueling. Many of these same applications fit
maritime ship designs and retrofits. |
